Yosemite Valley

Today I worked on the first movement of my Yosemite string quartet and except for an ending, the main ideas are sketched out. The tonality is a mystical C Lydian - with the raised fourth (I do like that tritone). My main inspirations are Tarik O'Regan's vocal music as well as Machaut's Kyrie from the Messe de Nostre Dame.
