Today I found the singer/songwriter Natalie Merchant. She's been performing for 30 years, but I don't think I'd heard of her before. Her latest album, Leave Your Sleep, is comprised of 27 songs based on poems of childhood, poems I'd mostly never known. My love of poetry piqued my curiosity, so I've been browsing her extensive website as well as watching her on TED.
